Cookie statement
Last updated: August 24, 2026
This statement explains how LookalikeAlert currently uses cookies and similar browser technologies.
Strictly necessary cookies
LookalikeAlert uses essential session and security cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, preserve security settings, and provide requested account functionality. These cookies are necessary for the service and do not require advertising consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
sessionid | Maintains an authenticated session. | Session or configured login period |
csrftoken | Protects forms and account actions against forged requests. | Up to one year |
Analytics and advertising
With your explicit consent, LookalikeAlert uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure page visits and a small set of signup, setup, and checkout funnel steps. GA4 is not configured and no analytics events are sent until you select “Accept analytics.” Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization are always denied.
Analytics events use fixed page aliases and fixed event names. We do not send query strings, verification tokens, form values, email addresses, names, protected domains, organization names, or internal record identifiers to GA4.
| Cookie or storage key | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes a browser for consented GA4 measurement. | Up to two years |
_ga_<container-id> | Maintains a consented GA4 session. | Up to two years |
lookalikealert_cookie_consent_v1 (localStorage) | Stores whether analytics was accepted or rejected and when the choice was updated. | Until you clear site data or change your choice |
Third-party services
When you choose to pay, Stripe’s hosted payment flow may use its own cookies or similar technologies for fraud prevention, payment processing, and service integrity. Those technologies are governed by Stripe’s notices. Links to external websites may also lead to services with their own cookie practices.
Managing cookies
You can reopen the consent banner at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting analytics updates Consent Mode to denied and removes GA cookies accessible to this website. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent login, form submission, billing, or other account features from working correctly.
